Using the Monthly Code Archive to See What You Missed
Posted: Mon Aug 24, 2026 8:07 am
Life happens. You go away for a week, or the grandchildren visit, or you simply forget for a few days. Then you come back, look at the codes page, and wonder how much went by while you were not looking.
That is what the archive is for. It is the complete record of every code we have posted, laid out month by month, going all the way back to 2016.
What the archive holds
The archive lives at https://www.ddpcshares.com/double_down_c ... es/archive. Each month has its own page, and every code we shared that month is listed on it.
It is a big collection - more than 42,000 codes, every one of them recorded there.
It is not a second codes page, though, and this is the key thing to understand. The archive is a history, not a stock cupboard. Most of what is in it has long since expired.
Using it after time away
1. Start on the main codes page and collect everything Fresh and Active first. Those are the ones most likely to still work.
2. Then open the archive and go to the current month.
3. Work back through the last few days you missed. Anything from the past three to five days is worth a click.
4. Beyond that, treat it as reading rather than collecting. A code from three weeks ago is almost certainly finished.
5. Remember the limit: twelve chip codes in a 180-minute window. If you are catching up on several days, you will hit it. Come back later and continue.
One thing the archive cannot give back is the daily 500K, the one code that repeats every day. It can only be collected once in a 24-hour period, and a missed day cannot be made up. Today's is always waiting, though.
What expired actually means
When you click an old code and the game says it looks like you have already used the code or it has expired, both halves of that sentence are possible.
It may have run out its life, which is what usually happens to anything older than about five days. Or it may be a code you collected at the time and have forgotten.
Either way, the link is fine and there is nothing to report. Every code works once per account, ever, and nobody can reset one. If a code you know you never had keeps refusing, DoubleDown support is the only place that can look inside an account.
Worth a browse anyway
Even when the codes are dead, the archive is a pleasant thing to page through. You can see how busy a month was, spot the big Diamond Code drops, and get a feel for the daily rhythm of the game.
