You went away for the weekend, came back expecting a pile of banked Time Bonus collections, and found the same small number waiting that would have been there after a few hours.
Nothing is broken. Your Time Bonus hit its cap and stopped filling, and every hour after that was simply not counted.

Your Time Bonus banks up to 3 collections. That is the ceiling.
Once three are stacked up and waiting, the meter stops. The bonus does not keep quietly counting in the background, and there is no overflow that pays out later. Time that passes while you are sitting at 3 produces nothing at all.
With an active booster the cap rises to 4. That is the only thing that raises it.
So the answer to "why did I not get more for being away three days" is: because the game stopped counting after the third one.
The fix
The fix is simply to collect before it sits full.
1. Open the game whenever you have a spare minute and collect whatever is banked.
2. Do not save collections up for later - there is no advantage to it and a real cost.
