Diablo 4 Season 10: Why I’m Choosing Druid - New Kilt of Blackwing Build, Storm Wolves & Ravens

Post by abnerRRR »

With the release of Diablo 4 Season 10 approaching, I once again found myself in a class dilemma. Coupled with some unreliable leaks about classes, I was starting to feel confused. To be more cautious, I ultimately settled on one of the six existing classes.

After nine seasons, I've become familiar with the gameplay of each class and even developed new builds, which makes me proud. However, Blizzard's constant innovation with established classes means each new season feels completely new to me. This is a good thing, the only downside being that my existing builds are no longer relevant. Thankfully, the stability of the core gameplay and the release of balance patches have made choosing between these new classes less confusing. Of the six classes, I ultimately chose the Druid.

There are three reasons for choosing the Druid: First, I've spent the least time with it of the six. Second, the strength of the Druid has been greatly improved in the season 10. Third, I like its visual design.

I actually wanted to pick Druid as my class at the start of Season 1, but ended up choosing Mage. It was a wise choice, saving me a lot of headaches in Seasons 2 and 3. Even with the upcoming Season 10, with the Hydra Sorcerer and Lightning Sorcerer builds skyrocketing in power, diablo 4 Mage class remains incredibly powerful. The Bouncy Fireball Sorcerer Skill, in particular, made it easy and efficient to dispatch all goblins in the face of the adjusted Infernal Tide. For more demanding players, spending Diablo 4 gold on gear and skills will yield even greater results.

Sadly, after Season 3 ended, I didn't embark on Season 4. The arrival of the Construct Season made me tired of the cyclical seasons, and the "Seneschal Companion" and "Vaults" seasonal mechanics lacked any spark. Worst of all, a bug that allowed many players to exploit it to advance to the top left me feeling completely uninterested, and I reduced my involvement in the game for a long time.

Season 10 has finally arrived, and Blizzard's promotional efforts for Druids have reignited my enthusiasm. With the arrival of the new build, Kilt of Blackwing, I'll be using wolves and ravens to support my battles:
  • Kilt of Blackwing: Ravens deal 120.0% increased damage and Shapeshift into a different form or activate a Companion Skill. Summons a Raven that attacks nearby enemies. Summoning a Raven has a chance to call forth an Unkindness for 10 seconds, increasing the number of Ravens Summoned to 3 for the duration.
  • Storm's Companion: Your Wolf Companions are infused with the power of the storm, dealing Lightning damage and gaining the Storm Howl ability.
With the same level of construction, powerful gear will give the character a greater advantage. I'm planning to buy Diablo 4 gold and add my saved gold to upgrade my gear. Regarding skills, I plan to add Cyclone Armor, Petrify, Ravens, and Earthen Bulwark to my skill slots. To avoid the hassle of tedious adjustments, I won't be adjusting any of them.

Everything is ready, enjoying the fun that Druid brings me.
