What Are Diamond Codes? Our Biggest Free Chip Posts Explained

Post by DDPCShares »

If you have been around DDPCshares for a while you have seen us announce Diamond Codes, and seen how quickly the community jumps on them. Here is what they are and how to make sure you never miss one.

A Diamond Codes post is special because it is not one code. It is a whole batch published together in a single article, with a different code for each Diamond Club color, so working through the list adds up to one of the biggest single-day chip hauls we ever get to share.

Why each code has a color

Diamond Club is DoubleDown's loyalty program, and everybody is in it. It has eleven color tiers, in this order: White, Yellow, Pink, Blue, Red, Black, Cosmic, Fire, Orchid, Supernova and Royal.

A Diamond batch carries one code per color, and the amounts differ from tier to tier. To give a sense of the scale, one month's code for the Fire tier was worth 750,000 chips.

The color is not decoration - it tells you which tier each code was issued for, and the amounts rise with the tier. But it never limits who can collect: every code in a posted batch works for every player, whatever your own color. Knowing your color simply tells you which line DoubleDown emailed to your tier. Open the game and click your round profile picture - your Diamond Color is on that page, along with your Player ID and your Flame Power.

DoubleDown also sends these codes to members by personalized email, which is why some players see theirs in the inbox before it appears anywhere else.

When they arrive

Roughly once a month, but not on a date you can circle on the calendar. Some months the batch turns up late, and that is normal rather than a sign that anything has ended.

When DoubleDown releases one, we publish it in our articles section at https://www.ddpcshares.com/ddpc_articles and feature it on the front page of the site. The post title always says Diamond Codes, and we mark it EXPIRED once the batch dies so that nobody wastes a click on it.

How long a batch lasts

Diamond Codes follow the same rules as every other code. Each one works once per account, ever, and the whole batch stops working when DoubleDown switches it off.

They do tend to live longer than everyday codes - one batch stayed good for about two weeks - but that is a tendency, not a promise. When a Diamond post is up and marked active, treat it as a job for today rather than a job for the weekend.

How to catch the next one

1. Check the site once a day. An active Diamond post is featured at the top of our front page and is hard to walk past.
2. Follow our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/DDPCsharesonline, where we announce every drop as it happens.
3. Switch on DoubleDown's own email newsletter from the settings inside the game, so your personalized code can reach you directly as well.
4. When you see the post, collect every code on the list, whatever your color. Each one works once per account, so the whole batch together is the real haul - and the list doubles as the clearest picture you will ever get of how the tiers compare.

There is one more way to help, and it costs a single forwarded email. Some months a batch reaches us with one color missing, simply because nobody in that tier has sent theirs in yet. Members who forward theirs are the reason the list is ever complete.

Diamond batches are worth watching for, but they are not the only reason to stop by. We announce every one of them on our Facebook page, and between batches the daily list at https://www.ddpcshares.com/double_down_c ... tion_codes keeps filling up all on its own.
