The idea behind all four is the same: stop relying on remembering. Let the codes find you instead.
The four habits
1. Bookmark the codes page. Everything we post lands on our daily codes page, with the newest code always sitting on top. Put it in your bookmarks, or add it to your phone's home screen, and make it a once-a-day stop, like checking the weather.
2. Follow us on Facebook. We announce codes and Diamond drops at https://www.facebook.com/DDPCsharesonline, and we post every day, Stories included. If you are on Facebook anyway, a follow means the drops turn up where you already are - and liking or reacting to a post genuinely helps it reach other players too.
3. Let the site walk you through the day. Every code has its own page with a big button that takes you straight to the next one, so a single visit carries you through everything you have not collected yet. Read the label on each post as you go: Fresh means we put it up today, Active means it went up less than three days ago, and Older means exactly that. Start anywhere - the pages do the remembering for you.
4. Catch up with the archive. Been away for a few days? Our month-by-month archive at https://www.ddpcshares.com/double_down_c ... es/archive lists every code we have posted going back to 2016, more than 42,000 of them. The recent ones may still work, the older ones will not, but you will know exactly what you missed and what is still worth a click.
The fifth habit, if you want it
Those four cover our side of things. DoubleDown has its own streams, and switching them on means codes reach you before anybody has time to pass them along.
Inside the game, tap the menu button at the top right, next to your chip count, go to settings, and opt in to mobile notifications and the email newsletter until a green ACTIVATED appears. DoubleDown sends roughly four promotional emails a day on top of its notifications, so this is not a small tap.
One detail people miss: when a notification with chips arrives, tap or swipe the notification itself to claim it. Opening the app the ordinary way leaves those chips uncollected.
What you cannot get back
Most codes live three to five days, so a day away is rarely a disaster. Yesterday's list is often still good, and that is the reason the habits above work at all.
There is one exception. The daily 500K code repeats every day, and it can be collected once in a 24-hour period. Missed days cannot be made up - yesterday's will not work once you have taken today's, and nobody can reopen it.
That is the strongest argument there is for making this a daily stop rather than a weekly one. Everything else forgives a lapse; those three do not.
Set those up once, and missing a code becomes something you would have to work at. Begin with the bookmark - https://www.ddpcshares.com/double_down_c ... tion_codes is the address to save - and let tomorrow's batch come to you.
