Players often assume that points come from playing - from spins, from daily logins, from collecting every code going. They do not, and knowing that saves a lot of wasted effort.
Where the points come from
Loyalty Points are earned through chip purchases. Bigger purchases earn more points.
That is the whole engine as far as we can verify it. Your color rises as those points accumulate, which is why a player who buys chips regularly climbs and a player who does not stays where they are, however many hours they put in.
There is no shame in either. It is simply useful to know, because it means nobody has to wonder whether they are missing a trick that would move them up for free. There is no such trick.
What we will not guess at
We have never seen an official table of how many Loyalty Points each color requires, or how many points a given purchase earns. So we are not going to publish one. You can check your own tier level on the game page.
That may seem like an odd thing to boast about. It matters because made-up numbers travel. If we invented a threshold and somebody spent real money chasing it, that would be on us. We would rather say we do not know.
If you want an authoritative answer, ask DoubleDown directly through their support system at https://support.doubledowncasino.com/hc ... quests/new - the Feedback category is a reasonable place for a question about how the program works. Be aware that replies appear under the activities section of your support account and do not always arrive as an email.
What climbing actually gets you
The perks we can confirm are worth knowing before anyone thinks about it:
Bigger daily free chips as your color rises.
Higher Daily Wheel wedge values on your free daily spin.
More daily gift redemptions. Everyone starts at 3 a day, Pink and above get more, and the top tiers can redeem up to 15.
Monthly loyalty emails containing free chips and free spins.
VIP purchase vouchers.
Monthly Diamond Codes, issued separately for each color. Fire tier code was worth 750,000 chips, to give a sense of scale. Each month the code values repeat and you can collect all 6,800 Million chips.
Climbing is optional, and the free game is complete
Nothing in Diamond Club gates the daily game. At White you still collect every promo code the day it appears, spin the Daily Wheel, bank the Time Bonus, send and receive gift spins, run the Mission Pass, climb the Pyramid League for its Monday rewards, and unlock High Limit rooms by playing three days in a row. However, if you never have purchased chips, there are some NOTIFICATIONS that you do not qualify for and will not get the chips.
And whatever your color, chips remain play money. They never convert to cash, prizes or goods, and they cannot be transferred or sold, so points and tiers are about the size of the fun, never about value in your pocket.
If you do buy chips, buy them because you want the playing time. Treat the Loyalty Points as a side effect, never as a plan, and set the amount before you open the page rather than after.
Then come back to the free half of the hobby, which never stops delivering. The day's codes are lined up for you at https://www.ddpcshares.com/double_down_c ... tion_codes
