The rule: once every 24 hours
The 500K can be collected one time in any 24-hour period. Take it today and it is finished for you today. Tomorrow it resets and is as good as new.
That is why we post it again each morning. It is not a leftover from yesterday. It is the same code, ready to give again.
Why a missed day cannot be made up
This is the part worth reading twice. If you skip a day, that day's 500K is gone for good. There is no way to reach back and claim it.
It works in both directions, too. If you go and collect an older day's 500K first, then try today's, today's will not work. If you collect today's first, the older one will not work afterward. One collection per 24 hours, whichever post you touch first.
So if you stumble on an older post from a few days back with the 500K in it, leave it alone. Use the newest post of the day instead.
What it looks like when you have already had it
Click the 500K when you have already collected it today and the game will tell you it looks like you have already used the code or it has expired.
That message is honest and it is final. The link is not broken, and nobody can reset it for you - not us, and not another website. It simply means those chips already reached your balance.
It is also nothing to worry about. Every code in DoubleDown works once per account. The 500K is the same - it just gets a fresh chance every day, which almost no other code does.
Making it part of your day
The fix for all of this is a habit rather than a trick.
1. Pick a time of day that suits you - with your morning coffee, or while the news is on.
2. Open our codes page and take the 500K first, before anything else.
3. Then work down through the rest of the day's codes.
Doing it first means that even on a busy day when you only have two minutes, the repeating code is safely collected.
