Broken Link or Already Redeemed? How to Tell (and Where to Report)

Post by DDPCShares »

"That link did not work for me." We hear that sentence every day, and nearly every time it turns out to describe one of three completely different situations - only one of which is a link problem at all.

The screen tells you which one you have. All you have to do is read what it says instead of closing it. Here are the three, in plain language, with the right place to take each.

Message one: already used or expired

You click a code and get a popup saying it looks like you have already used this promo code or it has expired.

The link works. You are just not eligible to redeem it. Either that code already reached your account, or its life has run out - most codes last three to five days.

There is nothing to fix here, and nobody can reset it. We cannot see inside your game account and no other website can either. If it keeps happening across many codes and you are certain you never had them, that is a question for DoubleDown, not for us.

Message two: slow down, you have hit the limit

You click a code and are told to try again later.

This is the redemption limit. DoubleDown allows up to 12 free-chip offers in a 180-minute window, and you have reached it. The counter resets on its own.

Nothing is wrong and nothing is lost. Collect any FREE SPIN codes in the meantime, since those do not count toward the twelve, then come back in a few hours for the rest.

Message three: the front page instead of the game

You click a code and land on a website front page. No popup, no error, no game - just a home page sitting there.

That is a broken link. The link failed to redirect you back to the game to claim your prize. It happens most often to players redeeming on a phone or tablet.

This one is genuinely ours, and it is genuinely fixable. Please do tell us.

Where each problem goes

1. Already used or expired: nothing to report. Move on to the next code. If you are convinced it is wrong, open a ticket with DoubleDown at https://support.doubledowncasino.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and include the manual code and the exact error text.
2. Limit reached: nothing to report. Wait, then continue.
3. Front page instead of the game, or one of our pages failing to load: report it to support@ddpcshares.com, or send us a message on Facebook. Tell us which code it was, what device you were using, and what appeared on screen.

Anything to do with your game account - missing chips, a purchase that did not arrive, a jackpot not paid - is DoubleDown's, not ours. Anything to do with our links and our pages is ours, and we would rather hear about it twice than not at all.

Reporting a broken link takes a minute and fixes it for everyone who clicks it after you. Send it in, then carry on down today's list at https://www.ddpcshares.com/double_down_c ... tion_codes.
